 things.

 Craftsman: a

 one who makes
 beautiful things
 by hand.

I design all handmade furniture in interesting woods to your requirements. These are individual designs, not run-of-the mill. I do not use veneers, chipboard or MDF - these are solid hardwood.

Handmade furniture is something different, something beautiful, something special, something unique.

One day it could be a family heirloom that you pass on to your children.

A lovely example of handmade furniture. Combining simplicity and flow, a Dining Table in Oak. 96" x 36" x 29" high. Seen here in its final setting in the owner's home.

Background

I have been producing handmade furniture at my workshop for 23 years, and have spent much of that time making tables.

Handmade furniture brings out the many opportunities for flowing forms and lines, working with the inherent art within the wood. These form wonderful opportunity for beautiful examples of God's artistry in the figure of the timbers of our native shores.

The most important thing for me is that in hand crafted furniture there should always be an ongoing and motivating force of intrigue, to see how each piece will actually stand on completion.

My work is not limited only to tables. Commissions for Benches, Dressers, Desks and interesting Doors, anything special in English hardwoods, are all welcome.
