Richardson Furniture produces custom designs in interesting hardwoods. These are unique designs, not mass produced. No veneers either - these are solid hardwood. See choice of timber.

Please contact Richardson Furniture and then we can meet and discuss what you need. I would need to know things such as: What kind of house is it for? Which room will it be in? What will it be used for? What kind of design? What type of woods do you want?

I would then create an original, custom design and show you the drawings, and if you're happy with those, agree a price.

Richardson Furniture - Background

Richardson Furniture has been made at the Prinknash workshop for 23 years, and he spent much of that time custom designing and making tables. Richard is a sculptor at heart; table bases present many opportunities for flowing forms and lines, while the tops are a wonderful opportunity for beautiful examples of God's artistry in the figure of the timbers of our native shores.

The important thing at Richardson Furniture, is that there should always be an ongoing and motivating force of intrigue in my work, to see how each piece will actually stand on completion.

Richardson Furniture is not limited only to tables. Commissions for custom, hand made Benches, Dressers, Desks and interesting Doors, are all welcome. You cannot buy these in a shop - only direct from Richardson Furniture.
